We offer FOUR training groups for committed 12+older athletes, at any level.

  • National/PAQPro (high performance group)  Nationally/Internationally ranked athletes, Olympic/World Champs qualified athletes, high-performing AG swimmers
  • Senior PAQ (elite group) elite and highly motivated high-school-aged athletes
  • Junior PAQ (novice group) bridge between high school /recreational league and club swimming

 

For those not quite ready for the rigors of PAQ Training, we offer:

Pre-Team (PRE-PAQLesson Program) offers training and stroke development for newer swimmers, as an introduction to our competitive programs. Click the sub-tab for program details

 

PAQ MASTERS offers individualized training for all levels of Adult swimmers. Click the sub-tab for program details

DETAILS:

National Group

Performance criteria for this High Performance group includes multiple Sectional, Junior National, or National time standards achievement. This group encompasses competitive high school, collegiate, and post-graduate / professional athletes. The focus is on qualifying for US Olympic Trials as well as National and International competitions (US Open, US Nationals, Grand Prix Series, Pan-Ams, International Championships, World Championships, Olympic Games). Minimum age: 13.

Senior PAQ Elite (College Prep) Group

Performance criteria for this group includes achievement of FGC Senior "A", or equivalent time standards, or participation in the FHSAA High School State Series. Training is individually planned and an aerobic base across IMX events is also developed. Athletes in this group are directed towards making their Florida Sectional time standards, and obtaining collegiate scholarship. Minimum age: 13

Junior PAQ (Novice Group)

Performance criteria for this group includes FGC/JO (Junior Olympic) or equivalent time standards. Competition goals include JO and Senior Champs, as well as Zone selection. Space is very limited in this group, as the selection process is rigorous. Minimum age: 13

OTHER PROGRAMS:

Pre-Team ('Pre-PAQ') (Bridge Program)

Criteria for this group includes 1 season on a middle-school or varsity swim team, and a basic understanding of all 4 competitive strokes.  Program is designed to prepare athletes and their families for full participation in the sport of swimming, while having FUN! Competition goals include Area Champs, as well as FHSAA Regional selection. Minimum age: 12/13 (depending on maturity level)
